These career descriptions were
created from interviews with teachers from Middle Tennessee
Counties. They were written and printed with permission from the
teachers. The descriptions of a “day in the life” of these
teachers will provide insight into daily activities in the
teaching environment as well as the factors that affect them.
However, a day in the life of any one teacher is never the same
for all teachers. The intent of these descriptions is simply to
provide career seekers with some insight into what motivates
those in the field to do what they do, everyday.
